We pride ourselves on ensuring you have a great experience with the NTX Vinyl Mystery Box Sub-Club. We hope every record shows up in pristine condition, but there may be times when you’ll receive something that isn’t quite up to snuff. Here are the most common types of damages and our general process for handling them.
Scratches or scuffs that cause your needle to skip
Excessive noise, whooshes, or pops
Significant warpage
Locked grooves that prevent the needle from advancing beyond a certain point
If you have any of these issues please contact us and we will do our best to exchange the album(s) with comparable LPs you will enjoy.
Seam splits (on the jackets or internal sleeves)
Severely dinged or bent corners
Miscellaneous defects and other imperfections
For pre-owned LPs, minor imperfections are to be expected. Our goal is to deliver albums that are graded at last VG, but in most cases VG+. Please refer to the Goldmine Standard for reference on vinyl grading. If you believe you received an album that is graded less than VG please contact us.
Sometimes you might receive a record that is not to your liking (outside of damages). While we hope that you can give the album a couple of listens before making your verdict, we, unfortunately, do not accept returns based on listener preference.
